Report Claims Prince Andrew Seeks Revenge on William
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is accused in a new report of privately harbouring resentment toward Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, as he continues to keep a low public profile following a series of scandals and the loss of his royal role.
The National Examiner reported, citing an unnamed insider, that the former Duke of York has become “very bitter and angry” and is “obsessed” with attempting to “ruin” the people he blames for his downfall, including the Prince and Princess of Wales.
According to the same account, Andrew is said to believe William and Catherine played a part in persuading King Charles III to distance the monarchy from him amid renewed scrutiny of his past association with Jeffrey Epstein, and that he now looks for ways to create tension within the wider family.
In separate claims repeated in recent royal coverage, the insider alleged Catherine was among the first to freeze Andrew out at family events and to oppose his attendance at her Christmas concert, an allegation echoed by author Christopher Andersen in reporting about her stance toward the controversy.
Andrew has long denied wrongdoing in relation to Epstein, and the claims about his intentions and behind-the-scenes actions have not been independently verified. The report nevertheless underscores how his standing within royal life remains a subject of ongoing scrutiny as the family seeks to protect the institution’s public reputation.
