Beck has remixed Paul McCartney’s “Find My Way (Feat. Beck)” song, but it turns out the two haven’t just recorded together, they partied at a club!
Beck told SPIN, “I remember hanging out with Paul and his wife Nancy several years ago and Nancy mentioned that she wanted to go out dancing before calling it a night,” Beck recalls. “We ended up at some club in West Hollywood and I remember noticing that Paul and Nancy were TEARING IT UP – really enjoying themselves more than anyone else on the dance floor.”
The song will appear on the McCartney III Imagined album, set for release on April 16th. Despite the pandemic, McCartney is staying busy with not only this release, but his next ‘Grandude’ children’s book.
He wrote on his official website, “Grandude’s Green Submarine is Paul McCartney’s second picture book, an exciting sequel to Hey Grandude! It will be published in hardback on 2 September 2021. The audio CD is also available.”
The storyline for the book is described as: “Join Grandude and his grandchildren as they set off on an exciting adventure, this time in a very special, magical submarine. They fly through the sky, ride a river through a jungle and go deep under the ocean, as they search for their grandmother – Nandude – another adventurer who loves making music!”
