Liam and Noel Gallagher have had their time on the outs with one another in the past. There have been multiple words thrown in either direction from the brothers as well as Liam leaving stages because he could not control his temper around his brother. It always seemed like it was something between these two.
As reported by Barstool – For years, there have been rumors that the duo would get back together and Oasis would once again be whole. However, many of us chalked it up to the brothers never being able to see eye to eye as a reason why it would never happen. That reason, while right in many respects, may not be the only reason why the band have not yet made some kind of comeback.
Now, this all may sound like a conspiracy theory, but what if it was Noel’s wife who truly kept the band from re-forming? With Noel’s wife out of the way, we may now see some kind of movement within the band. Of course, we could also see nothing happen at all, so take everything here with a grain of salt. I would wager that a bigger reason for the band never getting back together is due to the tempers between the brothers.
There’s nothing wrong with hoping, though. Maybe Liam needed to see his brother down in the dumps to say “Hey, let’s do this one more time.” and maybe Noel needs to be down in the dumps for himself to see Liam reach out to say “Okay, my brother isn’t exactly the worst person ever. There’s been a couple worse.” We’ll see. That’s all we can really do to see if anything moves forward.
