Liam Gallagher is not performing alone at the TRNSMT Festival 2024. He has company from Bonehead who took to X (formerly Twitter) and shared that he would be joining forces with the ex-Oasis singer.
The former Oasis frontman will be the top presenter on Friday 12th July 2024. Bonehead joining him makes sense as he has helped Liam perform various Oasis songs in the past too. Bonehead would help Liam Gallagher perform some songs from Definitely Maybe, the band’s debut album released 30 years ago.
Liam Gallagher spoke about this where Gerry Cinnamon and Calvin Harris are also set to headline, and said,”Can’t wait to return to Glasgow Green next Summer to headline TRNSMT. I’ll be playing songs from Definitely Maybe as well as some solo stuff. See you there.”
The Champagne Supernova rocker also spoke about playing with Liam Gallagher, and talked about the time where he had to miss the show in 2022 due to his problems with tonsil cancer. He spoke to Radio X’s Toby Tarrant on how he’s feeling during a special Bonehead’s Bank Holiday programme about this entire overdeal.
Bonehead said,”Yeah I got the all clear, I finished treatment. I was diagnosed last year sort of March with tonsil cancer, so it was tough, a tough year to say the least, but finished treatment on June 24th, three months after that I got the all-clear. I’m under the care of the Christie Hospital, which is the cancer hospital up in Manchester. For the next five years I’m under their care, which is the best care.”
