Oasis’ Noel Gallagher told The New Cue about the pandemic in a new interview, “Boris Johnson has proved himself not to be the fucking man in the crisis. Number one, getting it for a start – you f**king idiot.
“Right at the start of it he’s out of the game for three months. Hang on a minute, where is the fucking idiot who’s paid to make the rules? Oh he’s in bed because he’s ill. Fat c**t.”
Gallagher said he “struggled” during the pandemic, and admitted he has a “nice life” due to his fame and fortune.
“Lord knows what it must be like for the majority of people. I live a nice life with a f**king house in the country and all that and it’s driven me up the wall,” said Gallagher.
“F**king celebrities coming on the telly and on the radio everyday, ‘Oh this is great, I f**king love it…’ I’d be spitting at the radio going: ‘F**k off, you c**t!’
“Not enough people are saying this is a dreadful thing that’s happened. I hated every day of it since the second wave but what annoyed me most about it was in the first wave they were saying there’s gonna be a second wave and then when it came they did absolutely fucking nothing to prepare for it.”
Gallagher said he has recorded a new High Flying Birds album, which he said is “really good…there’s some bangers on there as well”.
