Former Oasis rocker Noel Gallagher was recently spotted swiftly leaving the Chiltern Firehouse on Tuesday night after coming face-to-face with his brother Liam’s son, Lennon via Daily Mail.
Liam and Noel have had a bitter relationship which saw the end of Britpop band Oasis back in 2009. Lennon, whose mother is Patsy Kensit was pictured leaving the venue much later than Noel, who went there with daughter Anais, 23, after headlining at the South Facing Festival in Crystal Palace on Friday.
A source told The Sun:
”Noel and his daughter Anais got to Chiltern Firehouse for a night out together to celebrate following his show. But the atmosphere there changed when Lennon arrived. It was just awkward and they didn’t want any trouble. It’s no secret that Noel and Liam’s relationship is fractious, and that extends to their kids. Liam’s kids Lennon and Gene have publicly badmouthed Noel and Anais before, so they weren’t exactly thrilled to see him there.”
Noel and Anais left less than an hour after Lennon arrived. Lennon famously took a jibe at Noel’s daughter Anais back in 2017 after she posted on Twitter: ‘I need love today.
She wrote:
”I’m feeling super fragile and basically need a boyfriend. But keep reminding myself I’m too embarrassing to get one!”
He sarcastically replied:
”Really?”
Lennon’s younger brother Gene, 22, – whose mother is Nicole Appleton, 48, was also rather unpleasant to Anais after spotting her at a Tommy Hilfiger fashion show. He had said:
”Firstly, u look like ur dad w a blonde wig on. Secondly, u model coz u look like ur dad not coz of who u are nobody care about who u are lmao.”
Noel and Liam have been on bad terms since 2009, when their fiery rows brought about the end of Oasis.
