Nikki Sixx has been through it all in the span of his heavily lived out life that he continues to push forward with. While many would not have made it this far – given all Nikki Sixx has done – Nikki is still giving it a go, but at one risk. With all that Nikki has done in his storied life, it’s starting to show as age holds no remorse on anyone, even immortals.
In a recent Instagram post by Nikki Sixx, he took the time to talk about aging. In the post, Nikki took a selfie and put it up for all to see as the caption read:
“I remember my grandmother Nona’s face as she aged.I always thought aging was a beautiful process.Some people gain wisdom and some never change with age.Some end up rich and some are destined to lose.Some have an open minded spiritual outlook or some have iron glad religious beliefs. Some go left and some lean hard right.Some don’t care.No matter where you live or how far you try to run away from where you live, we’re all facing the evolution of age. The good the bad and the beautiful. I see changes in me.”
Nikki closed: “Spiritual lines on my face and in my soul. Interesting developments as I like to say.I love imperfection and somehow always have. As a kid it felt like people faces and hands where telling me little stories. It still feels like that today but now I try to channel what I see to lyrics, books and poems. I will keep documenting all this change. Age,what a beautiful adventure.”
