We all remember the band REM? Well, we also remember the band, Nickleback. The later’s frontman has come out recently and stated that one of their songs might be the “most REM song ever”. As per LPM, Nickelback’s frontman, Chad Kroeger and Ryan Peake, recently sat down with Kyle Meredith and engaged in an in-depth chat about Get Rollin’ – the Canadian rock band’s 10th album. The Nickelback bandmates discussed at length the finding of their direction and gaining the knowledge they needed to “know their sound”. They also dug into the idea of living through the various cycles of the world of heavy music, and debating if rock can still be as dangerous as it was, perhaps in the late nineties and or early two thousands. The two bandmates additionally share some laughs and fun discussing nostalgia and 80s pop culture. They also debate back and forth and attempt to decide whether or not they would hop in a time machine a-la Back to the Future, and travel back in time. If they somehow found a way to do so, the two additionally elaborate on what they would or would not do do once they got there.
