Miley Cyrus is known for changing her hairstyle a lot. She has gone from her bouncy, blonde Hannah Montana look to short pixie cuts in her Bangerz days, and now she has embraced more retro styles. She’s tried many different hairstyles, hair colors, and hair extensions. Morrissey even had a meltdown after losing Miley Cyrus.
In a preview of her upcoming interview on Harper’s Bazaar’s The Good Buy podcast, Miley, now 32, talked about how her mom, Tish Cyrus, would insist on getting a lot of hair extensions for her. Miley said, “If it was under 250 [extensions], my mom wasn’t happy. Tish would say, ‘We need another row!’” Miley laughed about it, adding that the extensions they used back then aren’t even made anymore.
Many fans still remember Miley’s hair from her early years and wish they could recreate it. One fan said, “Those extensions changed my life.”
Even though Miley feels some regret about her past hair choices, she showed off a new, big hairstyle at the 2024 Grammy Awards. Her hairstylist, Bob Recine, gave her a look inspired by the 1970s but with a modern, punk twist.
Recently, Miley has also been going for simpler, classic hairstyles. At a Gucci event this summer, she wore her hair in a sleek, wet look with a little black dress. In her latest interview, she styled her hair in a casual updo with curtain bangs.
