Royal Expert Says Meghan Wants Harry ‘Keep Head Down’
Meghan Markle is said to be urging Prince Harry to avoid being drawn into renewed scrutiny around Jeffrey Epstein-related revelations involving other members of the Royal Family, according to a report citing commentary from former royal editor Mr Duncan Larcombe. The claims come as fresh emails linked to Sarah Ferguson and Epstein were published, reviving questions about past associations.
The Mirror reported that Mr Larcombe suggested Meghan would be wary of “guilt by association” and is likely telling the Duke of Sussex to “keep your head down” and “don’t get involved” while the Royal Family faces a reputational crisis.
In the same report, Mr Larcombe said Prince Harry would feel “gutted” for his cousins Princess Beatrice, 37, and Princess Eugenie, 35, who were discussed in newly released documents and remain among the few family members said to have kept in contact with him. He also pointed to Prince Edward’s remarks during an engagement, when he urged people to “remember the victims”.
The renewed attention comes as Meghan continues to pursue her commercial ventures and public profile, following prior Britpop News reporting on criticism of a previous Meghan Markle video featuring Prince Harry.
The emails were released as part of the latest batch of so-called Epstein files, and the report noted that being named in the files does not indicate wrongdoing. Epstein, who was previously convicted of soliciting sex from a minor, was found dead in a jail cell in 2019.
