Meghan Markle ‘urged Prince Harry to stay out’ amid Epstein turmoil
Meghan Markle has reportedly warned Prince Harry to avoid being drawn into renewed Royal Family turmoil linked to the latest tranche of Jeffrey Epstein files, as pressure continues to mount on Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. The comments were attributed to a royal expert as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex continue building their lives and commercial projects in the US.
Express reported that royal expert Mr Duncan Larcombe claimed Meghan would be “wary of guilt by association” and was likely telling Prince Harry to “keep your head down” and “don’t get involved” as the Royal Family faces a fresh crisis.
Mr Larcombe also suggested that, amid the latest developments, Meghan may be especially cautious about reputational fallout while pursuing business ventures, arguing that this may not be the moment to stress her links to the monarchy. The report said the Duchess launched her lifestyle brand As Ever in early 2025, selling items including jams, teas, candles and wine, and that the brand has been tied to her Netflix work.
The latest scrutiny follows the earlier Britpop News report that Meghan warned Prince Harry to avoid Epstein drama as renewed attention centred on emails involving Sarah Ferguson and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor in the wider fallout from the document releases.
Buckingham Palace has previously said the King is prepared to support police if approached as they assess allegations, while Thames Valley Police has confirmed it is considering whether there are grounds to investigate a complaint. For the Sussexes, the comments underscore how the continuing reverberations of the Epstein case remain a reputational flashpoint for the wider Royal Family.
