TMZ shared new photos of the couple spending Friday at Santa Claus Beach in Carpinteria, a quiet beach near Santa Barbara. Harry and Meghan looked relaxed and cheerful as they watched their 6-year-old son, Archie, learn how to surf.
Archie seems to be quite the little adventurer already. He’s just starting to learn how to ride the waves, and he’s clearly taking after his dad Harry has also picked up surfing since moving to California.
While Archie played in the water, Meghan and Harry stayed on the beach, dressed casually and chatting with other people nearby. They kept a close eye on Archie, smiling and enjoying the sunny day.
This beach outing is another example of how different their lives are now compared to when they were working royals in the UK. Instead of following strict royal rules and attending official events, they now get to enjoy more freedom, privacy, and family time.
Back in the UK, the weather is gloomy and rainy as usual — but in California, the sunshine seems to suit Harry and Meghan well. Harry looked especially happy, laughing with Meghan and relaxing by the ocean. It’s clear that leaving royal life behind was the right choice for them.
Since moving to Montecito in 2020, the couple has focused on their family and their own projects. They’ve worked on charity efforts, produced media content, and are building a life that reflects their own values far from the pressures of the royal family.
