The former royal couple, Harry and Meghan Markle, seem to be receiving the cold shoulder from the A-listers with whom they once had a close bond. The list of those distancing themselves from the couple has grown recently. Sources suggest that Prince Harry attributes this situation to his fractured relationship with his father, King Charles, and his older brother, Prince William.
As per new reports, Harry and Meghan’s blossoming friendship with actor John Travolta is on its last leg. An insider claimed the Hollywood veteran no longer spent time with the couple, especially the Duke of Sussex.
They described his cold reaction to Harry as a “humiliating” snub, claiming he was upset and disappointed by their fallout. “It feels like yet another opportunity has been taken away. John was someone I genuinely relied on,” Harry allegedly told a friend.
They also noted that Harry began noticing the cracks in their friendship when Travolta started spending time with Britney Spears’ ex-husband, Sam Asghari. But, having little to no contact with the entertainer made the former working royal suspicious of a deeper ploy.
“Harry’s deeply suspicious that William is turning people against him, and this only fuels that anxiety. He’s been saying he wants to call John directly and ask him to be honest about what’s really going on,” the source told Radar Online.
Since leaving the UK and relocating to the US, Harry and Meghan have faced a tumultuous relationship with the Royal Family. Their ongoing feud has reportedly pushed one of Harry’s close friends away, as he wishes to avoid getting caught up in the drama.
A source revealed that John Travolta chose to focus on his own life rather than aligning himself with the Sussexes, a decision that contrasts sharply with his initial response to Harry and Meghan. Last year, Travolta faced criticism for inducting Harry as a “Living Legend of Aviation,” despite Harry’s limited accomplishments in flying.
Reports indicate that Harry and Travolta first connected over lunch at the Polo Lounge in Beverly Hills in early 2023. An insider stated that they formed an instant bond, sharing a “profound emotional loss,” as they recognized similar wounds in each other. However, their budding friendship eventually cooled off.
