Madonna Offers Reward for Missing Coachella Costume
Madonna has appealed for help after discovering that the vintage outfit she wore during her surprise Coachella 2026 appearance with Ms Sabrina Carpenter has gone missing. The singer, 67, said the items were pulled from her personal archives for weekend two of the festival in Indio, California, and described the loss as more than a missing stage look.
In a message shared on Instagram Stories, Madonna said the costume included a jacket, corset and dress, and Page Six reported that she claimed other archival items from the same era had also disappeared.
Madonna wrote that the garments “aren’t just clothes” but part of her history, and asked anyone who finds them to contact her team, adding that she is offering a reward for their safe return. Her post followed the high-profile guest spot in which she joined Ms Carpenter on stage for performances of “Vogue” and “Like a Prayer”, wearing a purple jacket and lilac corset over a lace dress with long gloves and sheer stockings.
The incident adds an unusual footnote to Madonna’s run of headline-making moments in recent months, including when she recreated her ‘Like a Virgin’ bridal look in a separate fashion throwback shared with fans.
Madonna also reflected on the Coachella appearance as a “full circle moment”, noting she previously performed at the festival 20 years ago while introducing music from “Confessions on a Dance Floor”. She has recently teased new material, with plans to release “Confessions II” later this year.
