Liam Gallagher recently publicly spoke about brother, Noel Gallagher in years. Liam took to social media to praise the latest single by his “mean-spirited” brother, Noel.
Noel Gallagher released the melancholic new track ‘Dead To the World’. The song is the latest single to be taken from his upcoming High Flying Birds album, ‘Council Skies’, which is due for release on June 2.
‘Dead To The World’ follows on from previous singles taken from the forthcoming album, ‘Easy Now’ and ‘Pretty Boy’, the latter of which was recently remixed by The Cure frontman Robert Smith.
Discussing the latest release, Noel Gallagher referred to ‘Dead To The World’ as having a “noir vibe” and “unlike anything else” he has written.
Noel Gallagher recently talked about the prospect of an Oasis reunion in the future. The beef between the Gallagher brothers, Liam and Noel Gallagher is no secret. The split of Oasis certainly shocked the fans back in the day. In 2009, the band parted ways immediately following a backstage tiff in Paris.
Tension had been brewing in the time building up to their scheduled performance at Rock en Seine festival. The weekend prior, Oasis pulled out of headlining V Festival because Liam Gallagher was suffering from laryngitis, and rumors floated about their tumultuous relationship.
Meanwhile, Foo Fighters has announced its first album since the sudden death of drummer Taylor Hawkins in March 2022. “But Here We Are” is set to arrive on June 2, with its lead single, “Rescued,” available now. The band are currently gearing up to play their first full headline shows since the tragic passing of drummer Taylor Hawkins last year. They recently confirmed that they would be continuing as a band without him.
