In a very recent cryptic Tweet, Liam Gallagher took to Twitter to ask about a rumor that has supposedly been going around. The rumor was that he is quitting. While Liam, in recent times, has not spoken about quitting what-so-ever, he did feel pressed enough to speak on the issue.
In the tweet, Liam asks: “Who said I’ve quit?” This seems to be about Liam still continuing to do shows even when many fans who aren’t too familiar with his work or the work of Oasis don’t know that he is still touring around and continuing to make his legendary mark.
This tweet could also be about something more out of the box, however. Recently, Liam touched down in Ireland and he was determined to make sure to enjoy some of the Irish capital’s favourite tipples.
Just after touching down, he tweeted: “GUINNESS.”
The Manchester legend is no stranger to these shores and has often been seen enjoying pints in various Dublin pubs. He also often heads to the west of Ireland to his mother’s hometown Charlestown, Co Mayo.
Maybe some fans have said that Liam has quit on drinking – if they have, they are completely wrong about that.
He was joined at his Dublin show by fellow 90s indie rockers the Charlatans.
Talking about the gig, the singer tweeted: “I’m absolutely buzzing to announce that on 27th August 2022 I’ll be playing Royal Hospital Kilmainham. It’s gonna be biblical. C’mon You Know. LG.”
The show was said to be a great one and fans can continue to look forward to Liam for a long time to come as he shows no signs of slowing down or quitting at all. It’s always great to see people like Liam Gallagher still out there and doing what they know how to do best.
