Liam Gallagher said goodbye to his live band at his last solo concert before Oasis reunites next year. He performed at the Liam Gallagher And Friends Malta Weekender on September 23, marking the end of this part of his solo career, but he was also seen yelling at an employee in a recent video.
During the show, Liam praised his band, saying they had “been with us from the beginning” and mentioned, “this is going to be our last show for a bit, massive respect.” He also complimented his backing singers, calling them “the beautiful girls.”
Liam played a full set of Oasis songs, following a performance at Wembley Stadium where he sang three tracks from Oasis’s famous 1994 album Definitely Maybe. However, he faced some criticism about his singing and responded online, saying, “You ain’t real fans, you’re just imposters.”
Here’s the full list of songs he performed in Malta:
Liam’s current band includes Jason ‘Jay’ Mehler on guitar, Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs (also from Oasis) on guitar, Drew McConnell on bass, and Dan McDougall on drums.
For the Oasis reunion, details are still unclear. Reports suggest Bonehead will be in the lineup, and there might be some new members joining too. However, some initial reports said no other original Oasis members would reunite, and members of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds would fill in instead.
Oasis is set to perform 19 reunion shows in 2025 in cities like Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin, with plans for concerts outside Europe also being discussed.
