Never say never in the world of entertainment. Money talks, and it gets music artists, and a great number of entertainers to start walking. Walking might be in store for the former 90’s UK mod pop band Oasis. Recently, Noel of the band made a public statement suggesting “Never say never” when discussing the prospect of a Oasis reunion.
As per the Daily Mail, Noel Gallagher has not ruled out reuniting with Oasis days after announcing separation from his wife – who previously ‘wouldn’t let him’ consider a reunion…
The High Flying Birds frontman and Oasis’ chief songwriter quit the band over a decade ago in 2009, citing a feud with younger brother and lead vocalist, Liam.
In 2020, Liam told a fan who asked about a reunion on Twitter: ‘I’ve told you before he’s rite up for it but you know who won’t let him as she doesn’t like oasis music [sic].’
Days after Noel and his wife of almost 12 years, Sara MacDonald, announced they would be separating, he told BBC Radio Manchester that a reunion is not out of the realm of possibility.
‘You should never say never,’ he said, adding ‘it would have to take an extraordinary set of circumstances’
If the reunion happens Oasis could regain their first place status among UK music bands. We’ll see what happens.
