Liam Gallagher has taken to Twitter to alert everyone that he is “getting there” following his hip surgery earlier this year, which should hopefully have us seeing him yet again in a live setting. Possible Oasis reunion with hip replacements anyone?
The former Oasis frontman had to undergo a hip operation due to arthritis and when asked by a follow on Twitter about his recovery, he revealed: “Getting there still a bit sore”.
Liam said on Twitter: “Morning Rastas so I had my Hip operation last wk all went well and RESPEK to all the doctors n nurses who looked after me Big shout out to the A team for getting us home safe n sound you know who you are and Florence guru I love and adore you Riverdance here I come LG x”
A fan then asked if Liam was given drugs to which Liam said that, yes, that was the best part of the whole experience.
Liam has not yet stated on a time frame to where we could possibly see him back on stage, but it feels like it will be within a decent amount of time. As for an Oasis reunion, it’s hard to tell. It seems like almost every week the brothers tease something and then totally go after the other one’s neck. Let’s just say for now, that I think it’s a bit far out to think that we will get that anytime soon with Liam’s hip and Noel Gallagher’s divorce, of course, not to mention the bad blood flowing between the two on the daily.
You walking better R kid?
