Anais’ rockin’ dad Liam Gallagher has been in a lot of side projects outside of Oasis over the years. From a widely successful solo career to the ever-popular group, Beady Eye, Gallagher is no stranger to keeping himself relevant and staying in the spotlight. Gallagher’s latest solo effort, entitled C’mon You Know is no exception as its lead single, entitled ‘Everything’s Electric’ was Gallagher’s first solo single to reach the UK Top 20. The album came out in the spring of 2022, around the same time as his latest live album, ‘Down by the River Thames.’
During an interview that took place in 2017, Gallagher was asked by The Guardian if he could front any legendary band and sing in a fantasy group, what would that be, and why? Considering, Gallagher’s known fandom of iconic bands such as The Beatles and The Stone Roses, it’s safe to say that the particular answer that ‘The Don’t Look Back in Anger’ singer gave was quite surprising as he name-dropped, The Sex Pistols. “I would have loved to have been in the Pistols,” he revealed. “I’d have kicked out Johnny Rotten – he’d have gone. Get out, Gooner. Paul Cook’s fucking mega. Steve Jones is the man. Sid Vicious, turn his bass down but he is still f***ing killed. But Rotten would have gone, I’m sorry. I can do Johnny Rotten in my sleep.”
