Fans of popular Oasis alumni Liam Gallagher expected him to entertain countless amount of fans during a set at this past week’s Festival Bureaugard in France. However, this did not happen to the fullest extent of Gallagher’s ultimate capabilities as Gallagher had to cut that particular setlist short. In addition, the ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ singer would take to social media via Twitter to issue the following statement saying that he is on doctor’s orders after being diagnosed with laryngitis.
Gallagher would further explain that he would be canceling another upcoming show due to the development. The statement read as follows.
“Apologies to everyone who came out to Festival Bureaugard last night,” he tweeted.
“I was so disappointed to have to cut the set short. I have been diagnosed today with laryngitis and am on Doctors’ orders to get some rest. Unfortunately, that means I have to cancel my upcoming show in Cognac”
He added: “I never want to let anyone down am sorry for any disappointment but I have to put my health first LG.”
Supporters of Liam Gallagher would respond to this disappointing news as one fan would respond to the Twitter message by stating: “You will be gutted with that Rkid as are of us. Forget the Cognac gig get a couple of bottles of cognac and enjoy. Get better soon rest the vocal chords.”
While another would proclaim: “the same apologies are still waiting for us in Chile for what you did in Santiago and then only 2 days later you sang with all your energy in Brazil I’m a fun of yours that I still haven’t forgiven you”
