King Charles seeks Sandringham mini golf staff
King Charles is recruiting for new seasonal roles at the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, with vacancies ranging from ticket office and visitor host positions to mini golf and groundskeeping, as visitor operations ramp up ahead of the spring and summer period.
Hello Magazine reported that the estate is seeking applicants for “a variety of customer-facing roles” on its Visitor Enterprises Seasonal Team, including two posts connected to mini golf and groundskeeping, with applications due by Monday.
The recruitment drive also carries an unexpected connection to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who is currently living on the Sandringham Estate. The report noted that the Duke was previously known to be a keen golfer and had been associated with golf-related roles and events before stepping back from public life.
The hiring news follows continued scrutiny of Andrew’s position within the wider Royal Family, including recent coverage in which Prince Andrew was snubbed from Prince Edward’s royal birthday tribute amid ongoing fallout surrounding his status.
Sandringham remains one of the King’s most significant private residences and a major visitor attraction, and the new seasonal recruitment indicates preparations for increased public footfall in the months ahead.
