Jason Kelce believes Taylor Swift has had a huge impact on his brother, Travis Kelce. Since Travis started dating the pop star nearly two years ago, Jason has noticed a big change in him.
On the Fitz & Whit podcast, Jason talked about how much Travis has grown up. He told former NFL players Ryan Fitzpatrick and Andrew Whitworth that his brother used to live like “Peter Pan and the Lost Boys,” but now things are different.
Jason said that sometimes people come into your life and help you become a better version of yourself. He hinted that Swift has helped Travis mature. “And that’s a good thing,” Jason added.
The conversation started when Fitzpatrick joked about visiting Travis before his relationship with Swift. He remembered that Travis didn’t even have couches in his house, showing he lived a carefree lifestyle.
While Travis has grown up, Jason made it clear that his brother still has his fun, youthful energy.
There is some uncertainty about Travis’ future in football. At 35 years old, he has mentioned the possibility of retiring after the Chiefs’ recent Super Bowl win. However, with his off-field success—including his podcast with Jason, brand deals, and relationship with Swift—he has plenty of options if he chooses to step away from the game.
For now, it seems Taylor Swift has helped Travis enter a new, more mature phase in his life, and his brother sees it as a positive change.
