Kanye West is once again making headlines for controversial statements, social media rants, and questionable business moves. His latest declaration on X compares himself and Jay-Z to “Gods.”
Ye posted: “ONLY GODS CAN MAKE GODS JAY Z MADE ME A GOD.” This statement marks a shift in his views, as he previously criticized Jay-Z multiple times, most notably during a 2016 concert rant.
Ye recently claimed to be leaving X, comparing himself to Michael Jordan’s NBA retirement: “I quit Twitter for now. They just deleted my last tweet.” However, this didn’t last long, as he returned with more inflammatory statements.
Ye reignited controversy in February 2025 with another antisemitic rant, declaring, “I love Hitler” and “I’m a Nazi.” He followed up by saying, “I’m never apologizing for my Jewish comments” and dismissed antisemitism as something “Jewish people made up to protect their bullshit.”
Taking things even further, Kanye reportedly sold t-shirts with swastikas on his online store. This led to widespread backlash, including business losses and talent agencies cutting ties with him.
After facing backlash, Ye made another bizarre statement: “After further reflection, I’ve come to the realization that I’m not a Nazi.” He then oddly thanked Adam Sandler for “the love,” leaving fans confused.
