Kanye West tweeted a fake 9/11 conspiracy video today, tweeting the lie, “Yooooooo I never noticed that there were bombs in the World trade.”
Kanye West, now known as Ye, went on another social media rant on April 1, where he harshly criticized J. Cole and his music. Despite the date, it didn’t seem to be an April Fools’ joke.
“I hate J. Cole’s music so much,” Ye wrote. He also claimed that the industry would have pushed Cole to diss Drake, leading to a Super Bowl ad featuring the rapper—without a hit song like SZA’s to back it up.
Ye didn’t stop there, making a controversial remark about Cole’s fanbase: “No one listens to J. Cole after losing their virginity.”
He also reflected on a past conversation with Drake during the Donda era in 2021, where he told the Toronto rapper that he was “hurting hip-hop” by giving J. Cole a bigger platform. Instead, Ye expressed his preference for Future’s music.
This isn’t the first time Kanye has dissed Cole. Last year, on the remix of “Like That,” he rapped, “Play J. Cole, get the p—y dry.”
J. Cole has also taken shots at Ye in the past. While he has acknowledged West’s influence, he has openly criticized him in songs like False Prophets (2016) and Middle Child (2019), suggesting that Kanye hasn’t lived up to his legendary status.
Ye has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons lately. His recent online rants have included antisemitic remarks, open admiration for Hitler, and appearances wearing a Swastika-themed outfit.
Last week, he sat down with DJ Akademiks for an hour-long interview, where he covered topics like Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Kim Kardashian, Diddy, Virgil Abloh, Jay-Z, and Playboi Carti—all while wearing a black hood resembling KKK attire.
