Justin Bieber posted an inspirational message on social media while fans worried about his health.
On March 8, the 31-year-old singer shared a cryptic post on his Instagram Stories, written in all caps on a white background. He played Stevie Wonder’s 1976 song Sir Duke along with it.
“We have nothing to prove today,” he wrote. “Just the gift of life today to accept and receive. Nothing is owed to us, and we don’t owe anyone anything. ♥️”
In February, fans noticed changes in Justin’s appearance and behavior, sparking rumors about his health and possible drug use. However, on February 23, a member of Justin and Hailey’s team denied the rumors, telling TMZ that they were false.
The source said Justin has gone through a “transformative” year, ending some friendships and business relationships that no longer served him. They added that he is focused on his health, family, and music. The rumors about drug use are “exhausting and pitiful,” they said, and people keep spreading negativity despite the truth.
Before this, on February 20, Justin posted another deep message on Instagram Stories about change and insecurities. He said growing up means “letting go” rather than “trying harder.” The post, set to John Mayer’s cover of Free Fallin’, shared his thoughts on love, faith, and personal growth.
“I tried to follow the rules. I’m not good at it,” he wrote. “But you don’t need to follow rules to enter into a life of love. You just receive.”
He added that he is giving his fears and insecurities to God, trusting in His plan.
On March 1, Justin turned 31 and celebrated with a relaxing getaway at an Idaho ranch with Hailey, their son Jack Blues, and friends. A source told PEOPLE that Justin is “doing well” and not feeling pressured.
“His focus is Hailey, baby Jack, and new music. He’s living life at his own pace and loving it,” the insider shared.
