The Late Late Show host James Corden was pushed away by “rude” Pierce Brosnan in a humiliating confrontation on Wednesday, as the former Bond star called his fellow presenter “still holding a grudge” after he lost out to Idris Elba for the role of 007.
James Corden and his celebrity guest were challenged with a ‘Truth or Dare’ twist on The Late Late Show. In this episode, a game of ‘Truth or Dare’ had to be played in which the celebrity has to reveal their dirtiest secret. He revealed what happened with a celebrity.
While chatting with James Corden on The Late Late Show, the host revealed a potentially embarrassing encounter with Pierce Brosnan. When asked about this awkward encounter, Corden admitted that he went up to his idol in London and told him that he loved him… only for Brosnan to then declare that “I love you too” in return.
Pierce Brosnan had a tense encounter with James Corden at a U2 gig. The James Bond actor approached James and said something along the line of “what are you doing up there?” James responded “watching U2”. It was a funny banter between two people who are in the same field.
James once confessed that he was ‘rude’ to his best pal Ruth Jones, who was co-creator of their own sitcom. Their on-screen friendship even gave them both an opportunity to create a hit comedy series. In his autobiography, James confessed that he was ‘rude’ to Ruth, who he is still friends with today.
