Britney Spears has been a hot topic ever since she regained control of her social media accounts. Not only is her story inspiring to many that grew up around the star while she was featured in music culture as well as television – but the way that she has re-created herself is truly something that many can look up to.
Recently, Spears teamed up with the very famous, Elton John for a collaboration, ‘Hold Me Closer’. The song instantly was a hit just due to Spears regaining her footing in the music world. Not only has it been a treat to hear Britney in the front of music once more, but it was also a great experience to hear the vocal work of Elton John again.
Unfortunately, after the song came out, Spears went off the grid via Instagram. She had posted a farewell to social media. The writing that she left seemed to be pointing to the fact that she wanted to take more control over her mental health. She was not direct about this, but it was easy to read between the lines.
When Britney first came back to pop culture, she was greeted with love and respect. As people got used to her being back again; trolls started to come her way leaving rude comments about her appearance, her new music, and anything else that they could get a hold on.
Seemingly, in solidarity with Spears taking a mental health break, Elizabeth Hurley has posted a video of herself in a bikini while having the new Elton John and Britney Spears clad track in the background to go along with the video that Hurley has taken of herself. Of course, the likes and comments began to soar on the post that was put up on the page of Elizabeth Hurley.
