Ed Sheeran and his cousin, rapper Jethro Sheeran, also known as Alonestar, are in a big argument over music. Jethro claims that Ed told his record label, Warner Music, to threaten him with legal action. The issue started when Warner Music asked Jethro to remove Ed’s name and face from the artwork of a remix they worked on together. Ed Sheeran is also proud of Harry Styles’ success.
Jethro, who once thought of Ed as a close family member, is now upset and says he wants Ed to leave him alone. He shared his frustration on social media, saying that he’s tired of lying about what happened. Jethro says Ed is responsible for the legal actions and even took down some of his songs, which were important for his family’s support.
The trouble began in September when Warner Music told Jethro to change the artwork for the song “Raise Em Up,” which he had planned to feature both him and Ed. Jethro agreed, but he was shocked by what he felt was Ed’s involvement. Jethro later wrote on Facebook that both his lawyer and Warner’s lawyer were surprised by Ed’s actions.
In his post, Jethro told Ed to focus on his own career and suggested he team up with artist Stormzy. He expressed anger over Ed’s actions and asked him to stop interfering in his work.
