Philadelphia Eagles fans recently sparked up major controversy ahead of Super Bowl LIX, aiming pop icon Taylor Swift with an offensive T-shirt targeting the pop superstar, proving there is some “Bad Blood” between them via Yahoo.
With Super Bowl LIX approaching, tensions between Eagles and Chiefs fans continue to escalate, and Taylor Swift’s presence at the game remains a hot-button issue, both on and off the field.
On Saturday, sports writer Dov Kleiman shared a viral image on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, featuring a T-shirt that reads “F-ck Taylor Swift,” with the Eagles’ logo replacing the letters C, Y, and W in the phrase.
“Awful: #Eagles fans have made shirts to give out cursing out Taylor Swift for the Super Bowl: ‘F-ck Taylor Swift.’ There’s no place for this in sports,” Kleiman wrote in his post.
The T-shirt’s origin remains unclear, but the crude message has ignited fierce debate across social media, with Chiefs fans and Swift supporters rallying to defend the global superstar.
Chiefs fans quickly responded as the post gained widespread attention, calling out Eagles supporters for their unnecessary hostility toward Swift.
“Seriously. People can really be garbage,” one fan commented.
“Sealing their fate before even arriving in NOLA. Tayvoodoo is real, and the birds are f–king around and will find out… congrats Chiefs on your 3-peat,” another fan joked, referencing Swift’s supposed good luck charm for Kansas City.
“I mean, what does this even mean? Why does this make sense or help your game/team?” someone else questioned.
Others, however, defended the shirt, dismissing the outrage as an overreaction to harmless sports rivalry, with one user writing, “Nothing wrong with this. Freedom of speech.”
“Looks fine to me, where could one purchase this? Asking for a friend,” another wrote.
“Soooo where can I get this?” someone else asked.
“I’m actually not against this at all,” one X user chimed in. “Thank you Philly fans for doing us all a favor.”
Taylor Swift had a heartwarming reaction to the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory over the Buffalo Bills, a victory that secured the team’s third consecutive Super Bowl appearance. The pop star, who has been a devoted supporter of boyfriend Travis Kelce, was caught on camera celebrating alongside his mother, Donna Kelce, in a moment that quickly went viral.
In a video shared on X, originally posted to Ashley Smith’s Instagram Stories, Swift is seen reacting with pure joy after the Chiefs clinched their Super Bowl spot. The singer excitedly exclaims, “Are you serious?” before embracing Donna Kelce in a celebratory hug.
Smith, a career and life coach, captioned the moment, “Nothing but smiles the moment all the families realized we won and [we’re] headed back to the Super Bowl…for a third year in a row!”
