The former president of the United States, Donald Trump has broken his silence on the Prince Andrew scandal that has had those in the government spaces talking and stirring up many conspiracy theories.
As a refresh, the Prince Andrew scandal that is aforementioned deals with suspicions of Prince Andrew as he has been accused of child sexual abuse by Virginia Giuffre. Virginia alleges that as a minor, she was sex trafficked to him by American financier and convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein. Prince Andrew has categorically denied any and all allegations.
Jeffrey Epstein was a connection for many high-class sexual offenders along with his former accomplice and socialite, Ghislaine Maxwell. While on trial, Epstein allegedly hanged himself in his prison cell, although there are many conspiracy theories about if Jeffrey Epstein did or did not bring an end to his own life. His accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell was found guilty on all charges and will officially be sentenced to at least sixty-five years in prison in June of 2022.
Donald Trump was friends with Jeffrey Epstein, and has stated that he didn’t know about any of the issues that were caused by Epstein that dealt with the trafficking. In fact, Donald Trump relentlessly condemned Epstein and said that he was an odd person, even though there has been video that seems to point to their relationship being closer than stated by the former President.
With a bombshell interview via Piers Morgan leading the way through it, Donald Trump opened up about many things that have happened throughout his presidency as well as after his presidency which saw a leave of absence from social media. As it pertained to the Prince Andrew scandal, Donald Trump dodged a question about Prince Andrew. He was quoted as stating: “It was a terrible thing, terrible for a lot of people,” as he swerved out of further explanation.
