Liam Gallagher recently reacted to the alleged Oasis track leak on X.
Liam Gallagher opens up on the matter
Someone on TikTok shared a brief part from the song with the caption, “New Oasis leak, ‘Ease My Mind.’” Then, another user on X posted it, writing, “What the f*ck.”
“B f*cking Have,” Liam replied to the post with a playful comment. People have had mixed reactions to Liam’s response. “The more you keep it from us the wilder the rumours will get,” a fan said.
Another one noted, “We all know it’s fake it sounds like My Chemical Romance.” One other user shared, “It sounds more Coldplay than Oasis honestly so.” Another fan added, “Isn’t it strange to hear your voice made with AI?”
After announcing their reunion shows earlier this year, Oasis are set to play live together for the first time since 2009. Liam has hinted there’s more than just a tour coming. In September, a fan asked, “Is it true that Oasis will have a new album???” Liam replied, “Yep it’s already finished.” When another fan asked if a new record was ‘in the air,’ he said, “It’s in the bag mate f*ck the air.”
Earlier this month, the singer told fans on X that he was ‘blown away’ by the music Noel had written for the album. A remark from April came up after the comeback announcement, where Liam mentioned Oasis might record a new album in November.
Liam is known for being playful on X, and his tweets aren’t official confirmations. However, he has a history of mentioning news before it’s officially announced, like when he teased the band’s reunion and their 2025 UK and Ireland tour dates.
More recently, the rocker dismissed his earlier hints and said there’s ‘no Oasis album in the making.’ He responded to a fan news account that claimed the brothers were ‘working intently’ on a new album, saying, “I was f*cking joking remember them and the reason being because everyone is a little uptight these days I’m sorry if I have upset anyone but f*ck me it was a laugh.”
Liam responded to a fan who said the reunion is ‘enough,’ writing, “Exactly people always want more let’s just get in a big stadium and go ape sh*t and see what happens after that you with me or what.” He also responded to a fan who asked, “Why not?,” writing, “I’m busy.”
Since their reunion, many AI-generated Oasis covers have appeared online. Last year, a UK band also used AI to make a ‘lost’ Oasis album.
