Jennifer Lopez didn’t expect to have an unusual duet partner during her performance. The “Let’s Get Loud” singer was on her Up All Night: Live in 2025 tour when, on Sunday, August 10th, a cricket began crawling on her during a show in Kazakhstan.
As Lopez, sang and smiled humbly at the cheering crowd, the large bug made its way up her black cutout dress and to her neck. With impressive skill, she grabbed the cricket and theatrically tossed it aside. “He was tickling me!” she said.
In response to a fan account posting multiple angles of the incident, people praised the singer for making the moment look effortless.
“Didn’t even flinch! Professional level,” one user wrote. “Handled it so well, I would have collapsed right there,” another added.
Lopez’s tour has grabbed headlines, including a brief wardrobe malfunction in which the Grammy-nominated singer’s tasseled skirt belt fell off, leading her to gasp.
Earlier in the tour, the actress had a cheeky moment in which she responded to a fan’s request to get married. “I think I’m done with that,” she quipped.
Lopez’s “Up All Night: Live in 2025” tour began on July 8 in Spain and includes 21 shows. The tour is scheduled to conclude on Tuesday, August 12, in Sardinia, Italy. Following this tour, she will begin a Las Vegas residency with the same name. This residency starts on December 30 with four shows during New Year’s Eve week, followed by eight additional performances in March 2026 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
This upcoming residency follows her successful 120-show residency at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino from 2016 to 2018.
