Gwyneth Paltrow recently proved that she and Dakota Johnson truly are good friends . During a Q&A on Instagram Wednesday, the Goop founder was asked to post a photo with the “50 Shades of Grey” actress, who has been dating Paltrow’s ex Chris Martin since 2017.
The question prompted Paltrow, 51, to post a photo of her and Johnson, 34, holding hands while out on a brisk walk together.
The two actresses, who were wearing warm jackets, jeans, and hats, stood next to each other in the middle of the road and smiled for the camera. It is unclear when the photo was taken, but it’s worth noting that Johnson joined Paltrow, Martin, and their kids – Apple, 19, and Moses, 17 – for Thanksgiving this year.
The group was photographed arriving to the airport on Sunday after spending some time together in the Hamptons. Although Johnson and the Coldplay frontman, 46, have kept their romance out of the spotlight, Paltrow occasionally shares glimpses into her respective relationships with each of them.
In October, a fan asked the “Iron Man” star to describe her relationship with Johnson, whom she had nothing but good things to say about.
“We’re actually very good friends,” the mother of two said. “I love her so much. She’s an adorable, wonderful person.”
However, the comments came as no surprise to many given the pair’s seemingly close-knit dynamic. The two Hollywood stars were spotted hanging out at a Gucci fashion show in 2021 and on a family ski trip to Aspen, Colo., the year prior.
