Britney Spears posted a video of herself dancing to Justin Timberlake’s song “Señorita” on Instagram, more than a year after sharing details about their breakup in her memoir, The Woman in Me.
In the video, Spears danced near a fireplace, wearing a patterned bodysuit and platform boots. She used a hat as a prop and moved to the music.
Spears, 43, and Timberlake, 44, dated from 1999 to 2002. After their split, Timberlake released Cry Me a River, fueling rumors that Spears had cheated. In her book, she admitted to cheating once but claimed Timberlake had also been unfaithful multiple times. She also revealed that she had an abortion because Timberlake “wasn’t happy” about the pregnancy and said he ended their relationship with a short text message.
Following the memoir’s release, Timberlake faced backlash. Spears later apologized to anyone she may have “offended” and even praised Timberlake’s music. However, Timberlake seemingly dismissed her apology during a concert, saying, “I’d like to take this opportunity to apologize to absolutely f–king nobody” before performing Cry Me a River. In response, Spears took back her olive branch and told Timberlake to “go home crying to [his] mom” again.
