The Bluetones have just been announced as a headline act at Star Shaped Festival in London this September.
The festival promises it “won’t just be any performance”, with The Bluestones set to play an ultra rare, completely exclusive acoustic set.
Back in March we announced that London’s Star Shaped Club, a monthly Britpop night, had expanded their work to one massive inaugural festival.
Acts already confirmed to play are Rick Witter and Paul Banks of Shed Seven in a rare acoustic set, Hurricane #1, The Real People, Republica’s Saffron, The Seahorses’ Chris Helme, a DJ set by Creation Records’ Alan McGee, along with with Mansun tribute band Taxloss Lovers and Blur tribute band Popscene.
Star Shaped Festival now has just one more act to be announced, and with two platinum albums and seven Top 20 singles up their sleeves, you know they’re going to be good.
Covering three rooms and two floors, Star Shaped Festival will take place on Saturday, September 3rd at The Garage, Highbury Corner, London. An intimate venue home to Star Shaped’s monthly Britpop parties, Star Shaped Festival at the The Garage will surely provide a one-off experience for musicians and punters alike.
