David Beckham has officially reached billionaire status — making him the UK’s first billionaire sportsman as the latest Sunday Times Rich List delivered some massive celebrity money updates.
According to the new rankings, Beckham and wife Victoria Beckham now hold a combined fortune of £1.185 billion thanks to a booming mix of fashion, entertainment, sponsorships, and football investments.
The huge financial jump reportedly puts Beckham ahead of Charles III, whose wealth currently sits around £680 million.
A major piece of Beckham’s exploding fortune comes from his ownership stake in Inter Miami CF, the MLS club he launched in 2018 that has skyrocketed in value following the arrivals of stars like Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez.
The Beckhams also continue pulling in huge money through business deals tied to Adidas, Pepsi, Armani, Coty, and multiple entertainment ventures — including their successful Netflix documentary projects.
Meanwhile, Oasis legends Noel Gallagher and Liam Gallagher officially debuted on the Rich List for the first time with a reported combined fortune of £375 million.
The brothers’ massive payday reportedly exploded following Oasis’ reunion tour, which is said to have generated nearly £400 million at the box office ahead of additional money expected from music rights deals and a new reunion documentary from Steven Knight.
Elsewhere on the celebrity side of the list, Paul McCartney remains the richest musician in the UK with £1.05 billion, while J. K. Rowling sits just under billionaire territory at £975 million.
Simon Cowell reportedly holds £450 million, while Elton John landed at £480 million.
The younger celebrity rich list also featured major names.
Ed Sheeran reportedly tops the young musician category with £410 million, while Harry Styles sits at £235 million and Dua Lipa reached £150 million.
Sports stars also dominated the younger rankings, including Rory McIlroy at £325 million, Anthony Joshua at £240 million, and Tyson Fury making his Rich List debut with £163 million.
Bottom line: David Beckham officially becoming a billionaire just changed the game for British sports stars — while Oasis’ reunion payday also launched Liam and Noel Gallagher straight onto the UK’s biggest celebrity money rankings.
