Report claims Prince William warns Prince Harry of ‘consequences’
A new report has claimed Prince William has signalled he is prepared to take a tougher line with Prince Harry if the Duke of Sussex continues to criticise the Royal Family publicly. The claims, attributed to an unnamed insider, focus on the Prince of Wales’s alleged frustration about references to Princess Kate and the Wales children.
Wonderwall reported that a source told In Touch Prince William has let mutual friends know “there will be consequences” if Prince Harry does not “muzzle himself,” adding that William is “ferociously protective” of Princess Kate and their children.
The report also alleged the Duke is upset his children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, do not have the same access to “family perks” as their cousins Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. The unnamed source claimed Prince William believes his brother “only has himself to blame” and would not tolerate any narrative that draws the Princess of Wales or the children into ongoing tensions.
The latest comments come amid continued scrutiny of the brothers’ relationship and discussion about the Sussexes’ long-term approach to the UK, with previous reports suggesting Prince Harry’s possible UK return has been a source of royal anxiety.
There has been no public response from Kensington Palace or representatives for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to the claims. The report underscores how unresolved the family rift remains, particularly around the question of what role, if any, Harry and Meghan may have in future royal life.
