Prince Harry criticised on air over claims about Archie and Lilibet
Prince Harry has been criticised by TV presenters after a report claimed he is “very sad” that his children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, are missing out on spending time with the wider Royal Family. The discussion focused on the Duke of Sussex’s life in California and his long-running rift with the Royal Family.
On Sky News Australia, Daily Star reported that presenter Ms Danica De Giorgio labelled Prince Harry a “spoiled brat” while questioning what he expected after moving to Montecito and repeatedly criticising the Royal Family.
The report also quoted TalkTV host Ms Samara Gill, who said she believed Prince Harry had realised “the mess he’s gotten himself into”. Ms Gill cited Tina Brown’s book The Palace Papers, repeating a line suggesting the Duke “would have been impressed by a woman who could make a dinner reservation”, and argued the early appeal of Meghan was her independence.
Ms Gill went further by claiming the Duke may be experiencing “buyer’s remorse” and contrasted recent public appearances by King Charles with Prince Harry’s reported paid speaking engagements. The latest comments come amid continued debate about whether the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will seek closer ties with the UK, as previously reported in our coverage of Prince Harry reportedly setting conditions for a UK return.
The remarks underline how strongly opinions remain divided about Prince Harry’s relationship with the Royal Family and the impact of his public criticisms. There has been no official comment from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on the broadcast segment or the claims discussed.
