Jayden Federline dodges questions on Britney Spears rehab
Jayden Federline was approached in West Hollywood this week and declined to discuss how his mother, pop star Britney Spears, is doing following her recent rehab stay, offering only a brief, nonverbal response before leaving.
Outside the Laugh Factory on Wednesday night, TMZ reported that Jayden gave “nada” when asked how Spears was doing after getting out of rehab, though he appeared to give a quick affirmative nod when pressed on whether things were at least good with her.
The brief exchange came days after Spears reached a plea deal in her DUI case, in which prosecutors dropped the DUI charge and reduced it to a “wet reckless”, according to the outlet. TMZ said the agreement includes 12 months’ probation and conditions including continued mental health and substance abuse treatment alongside regular appointments with both a psychologist and psychiatrist.
Spears’ rehab stay has been closely watched amid ongoing legal scrutiny, with previous reports including claims her treatment could factor into the outcome of the DUI process.
Neither Spears nor Jayden has made a public statement about her post-treatment plans, and there was no further comment from him during the encounter as he left the venue.
