Madonna Turns Heads With Witchy Met Gala Look
Madonna brought theatrical gothic glamour to the Met Gala 2026 red carpet in New York on Monday night, arriving with a group of attendants who helped stage her dramatic entrance. The 67-year-old singer’s appearance came as she remains in the spotlight following a recent Coachella moment and ahead of her next album release, adding extra attention to her fashion choices at the annual event.
On the night, Page Six reported that Madonna wore a black Saint Laurent lace gown with dark grey satin gloves, swapped her blonde hair for a black wig, and topped the look with a pirate ship headpiece and a long sheer grey cape.
The report said seven “ladies-in-waiting” in satin dresses and sheer blindfolds held up the cape as she posed for photographers, while she completed the styling with chunky rings, a bejewelled necklace and black boots. Page Six also noted she carried a French horn-like instrument and was seen posing at one point with Belgian designer Mr Anthony Vaccarello.
Madonna’s Met Gala arrival followed her recent high-profile US appearance, after Britpop News reported that she offered a reward for a missing Coachella costume connected to her festival cameo.
With Madonna continuing to use major public moments to reinforce her image, her 2026 Met Gala presentation again signalled how the pop star blends performance, fashion and visual storytelling as part of her enduring brand.
