Meghan Markle ‘Eyes Lifestyle TV Return’, PR Expert Says
Meghan Markle could be laying the groundwork for a return to lifestyle television after appearing as a guest judge on MasterChef Australia, according to new comments from a celebrity public relations specialist. The Duchess of Sussex has not announced any on-screen projects, but the latest claims suggest her cameo may be part of a wider strategy to rebuild her profile through familiar TV formats.
Express reported that celebrity PR specialist Ms Kayley Cornelius said the appearance felt like a “deliberate soft launch into a new era”, arguing that lifestyle TV is “warm”, “relatable”, and allows the Duchess to be seen in a way that audiences can “buy into day to day”.
Ms Cornelius, speaking to AceOdds, suggested the format could help Meghan present herself on her own terms rather than returning to acting full-time. In the same interview, she also raised the possibility of the Duchess appearing on I’m A Celebrity Australia, describing it as a programme that “strips everything back and lets personalities shine” and could offer an opportunity to influence public perception.
Alongside the renewed focus on her screen presence, Meghan’s business ventures continue to attract attention, with one recent report claiming she was accused of pushing gifts on Netflix execs after a split as scrutiny persists over how she promotes projects and partnerships.
Meghan has not publicly commented on her future career plans. The Express report added that her current focus is believed to be her lifestyle brand, As Ever, as questions continue about how her media appearances and business interests may develop in the months ahead.
