David Beckham Teases Victoria on 52nd Birthday
Mr. David Beckham marked Victoria Beckham’s 52nd birthday with a tongue-in-cheek message that revived the couple’s viral “be honest” moment from their Netflix documentary, prompting fresh attention to the long-running in-joke about her upbringing.
Mr. Beckham posted a throwback image of a young Victoria posing in front of her father’s Rolls-Royce and wrote: “To my working-class wife, Happy Birthday. We love you. BE HONEST.”, Mirror reported.
The post nods to a scene in the documentary in which Victoria described a “working-class” background before Mr. Beckham, speaking from off-camera, urged her to be truthful about her childhood transport to school, a clip that quickly became one of the show’s most shared moments.
The Beckhams’ public teasing has continued as their family remains in the spotlight, with recent attention also turning to tensions involving their eldest son in a separate story where Brooklyn Beckham’s feud was compared to Prince Harry’s battle.
Alongside the joke, Mr. Beckham also shared more affectionate tributes to his wife, who rose to fame with the Spice Girls before building a fashion career. The couple, married since 1999, share four children: Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper.
