Prince Harry Denies Claims Meghan ‘Bosses’ Him
Prince Harry has rejected claims about his dynamic with Meghan Markle after a recent cover story sparked fresh scrutiny of the couple’s professional and personal partnership, with their lawyer calling the allegations “categorically false” and rooted in misogynistic stereotypes.
NDTV Profit reported that the couple’s attorney, Mr Michael J. Kump, criticised suggestions that Meghan “bosses” the Duke of Sussex around, and said it “seems calculated to play into the misogynistic characterization” of her controlling her husband, adding that Prince Harry described the claim as “categorically false.”
The NDTV Profit report said the claims were linked to a Variety cover story alleging Meghan believes Hollywood is “her domain” and that she can “talk over” Prince Harry in meetings, including claims she may steer him with “a touch to the arm or thigh.” It also cited allegations from unnamed sources that Meghan sometimes “disappear[s]” during Zoom calls and that others were later told she had been offended by something said.
Mr Kump responded that Meghan works from home while parenting two young children and may temporarily turn off audio or camera during virtual meetings to shield her team from distractions, arguments echoed in Britpop News reporting on Meghan Markle rejecting what she called misogynistic meeting allegations.
NDTV Profit also reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to travel to Australia in April 2026 for private business engagements, marking a return to the country after around eight years.
