New Epstein Files Photo Shows Andrew and Mandelson
A newly released image from the latest tranche of US Justice Department material connected to Jeffrey Epstein appears to show Prince Andrew alongside Lord Mandelson, the former UK ambassador to Washington. ABC News said the photograph is the first known image of the trio together, as fresh information continues to emerge from a huge document release tied to Epstein.
The undated picture shows Prince Andrew and Lord Mandelson wearing bathrobes while seated at a wooden table with Epstein, ABC News reported, adding that ITV has said it was taken at Martha’s Vineyard in the United States.
ABC News reported that Prince Andrew and Lord Mandelson were both arrested on suspicion of misconduct while in public office over their dealings with Epstein, then released but remain under investigation. The report said the allegations regarding the Duke relate to his time as the UK Trade Envoy between 2001 and 2011, with claims he shared confidential information with Epstein.
The latest image follows earlier material in the document release, including a picture that appears to show Prince Andrew with a young woman, which circulated as scrutiny of the Duke intensified.
ABC News said both Prince Andrew and Lord Mandelson have denied wrongdoing in relation to Epstein, and noted there is no suggestion that appearing in the files implies any wrongdoing as further documents are examined.
