Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s California Date Spots
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been highlighted for their low-key date nights in California, with a new report detailing several restaurants the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have visited since moving to the US in 2020. The roundup includes venues in Beverly Hills, Ojai and Montecito, and references occasions ranging from birthdays to Valentine’s Day plans.
In Beverly Hills, the couple have repeatedly dined at Funke, where Meghan described a meal prepared by chef Evan Funke as one of the “top five meals” of her life after celebrating her 44th birthday there in 2025, Hello Magazine reported.
The report also notes that the Sussexes visited The Dutchess in Ojai in 2022, where an onlooker said the visit was impromptu and “very low key”, and that they praised the food and enjoyed their time at the Burmese-Californian spot.
In Montecito, the couple have been seen at Lucky’s, including on a double date with Mr Brian Robbins and Ms Tracy Robbins ahead of their sixth wedding anniversary, and previously with Ms Katharine McPhee and Mr David Foster. Their outings have included other public appearances together, including a recent NBA date night where they were photographed courtside.
HELLO! also reported that Meghan and Harry visited Tre Lune in 2023 shortly before Meghan’s 42nd birthday, with a manager saying the couple “enjoyed their experience” while dining with a friend. The selections underline the pair’s continued ties to California’s restaurant scene as they balance private family life with occasional public engagements.
