Harry Styles Fans Face Two-Hour Ticketmaster Waits
Harry Styles fans reported waits of more than two hours as they tried to request tickets for his one-off “One Night Only” concert in Manchester. The show is scheduled for 6 March at the Co-op Live Arena, with tickets priced at £20 and limited to two per account during a two-day request window.
The request system opened with heavy demand, and some users said they were stuck in an online queue for more than two hours before reaching the Ticketmaster request page, ITV News reported.
According to the report, the request window runs until 11pm on Sunday 8 February, and the platform later confirmed that the time a request is submitted will not affect a fan’s chance of receiving tickets. Fans who are successful are expected to receive an email confirming whether their request has been fulfilled by Tuesday 10 February.
The Manchester concert is set for the same day as the release of Styles’ fourth album, “Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally”, and comes ahead of his planned “Together, Together” world tour, which includes 12 nights at Wembley Stadium—an angle that has also fuelled debate about pricing in coverage such as his Wembley ticket prices being labelled “insulting”.
Ticketmaster said the request system is designed to help ensure tickets go to fans, with a small number of tickets reserved for American Express card members. With demand already high, the allocation process is likely to be closely watched by fans hoping to secure seats for one of Styles’ most talked-about UK dates outside London.
