Prince Harry seen surfing in California in new video shared by instructor
Prince Harry has been filmed taking another surf lesson in California, with a newly released clip showing the Duke of Sussex spending time on the water without Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, appearing in the footage. The video, shared this week, has circulated online as Harry continues to pursue the hobby in the US six years after he and Meghan stepped back from royal duties.
In the clip posted by surf instructor Raimana Van Bastolaer, the 41-year-old is shown practising on larger waves, with the instructor writing: “Cannot stop you my brother for having a good time,” Express reported.
The video was shared on Instagram and then reposted more widely on X, where users commented on Harry’s apparent enjoyment of the sport. The instructor has posted similar content featuring the Duke in the past, as Harry has continued lessons since relocating to the US.
Since moving to California in 2020, Harry and Meghan have lived in Montecito with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. In previous coverage of the family’s home life, Prince Archie’s ex-nanny recalled being hugged by Prince Harry while describing her experiences working with the Sussexes.
The latest video underscores how Harry has built a routine in the US that includes local pastimes such as surfing, while public interest in the couple’s private life remains high whenever new glimpses of their day-to-day activities emerge.
