Britney Spears tried to bring her family together for Christmas, but the holiday did not go exactly as she hoped.
According to reports, Britney asked her older son, Sean Preston, to spend the holidays with her and his younger brother, Jayden, in California. However, the 20-year-old decided not to go. Sources say Sean was not ready to fully reconnect with his mother yet, and his decision left Britney feeling deeply hurt. Even so, she is not holding it against him.
Instead, Sean spent Christmas in Louisiana with his grandmother Lynne Spears, his aunt Jamie Lynn Spears, and other relatives. He reportedly felt more comfortable there and thought it would be a nice way to spend the holiday.
Britney later shared a sarcastic post on social media, aimed at family members she feels have hurt her in the past. Despite this, she remains hopeful about repairing her relationship with both of her sons.
Jayden, who is 19, did spend Christmas with Britney in Los Angeles. Reports say they had a warm and happy time together, laughing, talking, watching movies, listening to music, and sharing a meal with close family friends. The time together helped strengthen their bond.
Looking ahead, Britney hopes to spend more time with both of her sons in the future. She wants to do simple things together, like traveling, shopping, and enjoying normal family moments, and is committed to continuing to work through their challenges as a family.
