Matty Healy could very well see himself in some hotter water than per usual as he has continued to cause a stir on Twitter by locking lips with fans and sucking on their fingers during a gig in Brighton.
Per Daily Mail, The 1975 singer, 33, ended up trending on social media after he approached the crowd and French kissed a fan during a song as the fan would say that he seemed intoxicated.
In videos captured from the concert, he could also be seen sucking on one woman’s thumb. It comes after Matty admitted he was struggling with feeling ‘sexualized’ by fans of the Grammy nominated band.
Many fans would capture these moments via video and would speak on how Matty was very out of line for all of this.
The girl in question said: ‘So matty healy just french kissed me. He tasted like red wine’
Another person shared the thumb-sucking video and commented: ‘RIP Sigmund Freud you would’ve loved Matty Healy’.
It’s not the first time that the singer has engaged in promiscuous activity during the group’s shows, regularly kissing both male and female fans onstage. Matty’s eventful evening came a couple months after he admitted it was tough to be sexualized by fans of the group.
He told The Guardian: ‘People were having a romantic relationship with the band, I was sexualised to a certain extent; it was sexy, in the way that leather jackets and smoking and all that kind of s*** was sexy.’
But he admitted he found this depiction difficult because he was struggling with his mental health as he hadn’t dealt with some traumatic ‘early sexual experiences.’
It’s an odd way to voice out frustrations it seems and to put the sexualization on the fans. In fact, what’s worse is that he is now making people very uncomfortable.
